Copyright Information: All images copyrighted by photographer, Ashleigh Wells. It is illegal and unlawful to scan, copy, or reproduce Ashleigh Wells' work in any manner or medium and punishable by law. As an artist, Ashleigh Wells wishes to have complete control over the final look of her client's images, and scanned images damage her reputation as a photographer by distorting and devaluing the image quality.
Thank you for respecting Ashleigh Wells' work and livelihood by choosing not to reproduce her images.
02.exclusivity
Please only bring the people or pets that will be photographed to the session or who will be assisting with your pet. Also, please do not bring your own camera, camcorder, or recording device to the session.
03.before your session
Please have your pet ready to go for their session. This includes clean fur, a decent walk if they generally are higher energy and less food than normal so that we can use food as motivation if needed. Please bring along any food items you may be able to use as treats as Ashleigh Wells cannot do this in case your pet has allergies. It is also important to bring a leash and collar you are comfortable with being in your photos. Ashleigh will do her best to remove them in images where this can be done, but it is not always possible due to the pose of the dog or the way their skin may sit over the collar so it's strongly advised you bring one you like with you.
03.liability
Ashleigh Wells and participating photographers use reasonable care at all times during your photo session to keep you and your pets safe. They will not be held accountable however for any injuries which may occur as a result of pets tipping equipment or which are beyond her control as a photographer (such as insect bites or stings at outdoor locations, allergic reactions, falls etc.). Ashleigh Wells and participating photographers will ensure your comfort with every pose they set up with your pet and should you feel uncomfortable at any time, they ask that you do not hesitate to speak up. Your comfort and safety is the most important part of the experience. In order to minimize any possible reactions, Ashleigh Wells also asks that you please inform her of any allergies you or your pet may have so that she can accommodate you safely.
03.final prints
Your final print order will be delivered approximately 2-3 weeks after your order is submitted. If your order is placed after the standard 7 day time period for ordering, Ashleigh Wells may not be able to design custom items and place your order as quickly as usual as customers who place their order within the allotted time frame must be given priority. If your online gallery expires after the 7 day time period and there has not been an order placed, Ashleigh Wells reserves the right to charge a $50 reactivation fee for your gallery. Canvases and other custom items may take up to 4-6 weeks. Ashleigh Wells will contact you by phone or email in order to set up a convenient time for your images to be picked up or delivered.
03.Portrait care
Handle your portraits with extreme care. Damage incurred as a result of improper handling, framing or hanging is the responsibility of the client. to offer the date and time to another client.
03.Retainer policy
A non-refundable retainer for your session is due within 5 days after booking your appointment. This guarantees the time and date allotted for you. Should payment not be received in this time frame, Ashleigh Wells reserves the right to offer the date and time to another client.
03.Card and design items
Three pre-made card designs will be shown to you. You may make up to three small revisions, any additional revisions will be charged at $50 per hour. For collages, if you'd like revisions after a collage or storyboard has been shown to you, you must first pay a non-refundable retainer on the purchase of a collage. No further revisions will be made without such retainer.
03.Digital Files
Session fees do not include digital files. Digital files may be ordered separately once you have viewed your images. Digital file images are edited to be printed up to 11" X 14". Orders for prints and/or products larger than 11" X 14" placed with Sit Stay Studio with Ashleigh Wells Photography will be given a complimentary detail edit to ensure any additional retouching needed for the larger size is done. We cannot guarantee print quality from consumer labs as their printing processes may vary. Prints and products ordered through Ashleigh Wells Photography do come with a quality guarantee as they are printed by us through our professional lab.
03.sales are final
Due to the custom nature of each session, all sales are final.
03.retouching and reshoots
Retouching: Any retouching beyond the basic retouching we automatically do (small scars, lint etc.) will be charged a fee of $50 per hour. This includes removal of collars, extensive editing of people in the image, etc.
Re-Shoots: Re-shoots are at the discretion of the photographer; and are not given for regretful personal choices such as grooming or personal clothing choices if you are in the images with your pet.
Under the Weather: If you or your pet are feeling ill, please call to reschedule. Ashleigh Wells understands that sometimes, this happens. Ashleigh also works with newborn babies and other pets so it is important she try to avoid getting sick or passing on illnesses. If you must cancel, please try to do so at least 48 hours before your session.
03.payment
Ashleigh Wells accepts cash, checks and credit cards via PayPal.
Checks returned by the bank, for any reason, will be charged a $25.00 service charge and all orders will be cancelled if they are not paid in full within three days of notification.
03.Reprints and Storage
All ordered images will be kept on file for one year after your initial order. All images that are not ordered will be kept on file for 3 weeks only. Ashleigh Wells will backup copies of any ordered images onto external hard drive, but will not be held responsible for loss of these files in circumstances beyond her control (electronics failure, fire, flood etc.). If such a loss should occur between the time of your session and ordering, Ashleigh Wells will offer a refund of the money paid at her discretion. You are welcome to place a re-print order from the images you originally purchased. There is a $100 minimum on re-prints.
Unordered images will be deleted after 3 weeks unless alternate arrangements have been made.
